Effects of Rosa laevigata Michx polysaccharides on Liver Function and Lipid Metabolism in Immunosuppressed Mice

To study modulating effects of Rosa laevigata Michx polysaccharides on liver function and lipid metabolism in immunosuppressedmice, 50 KM mice were randomly divided into normal group, model group, low dose group, middle dose group and high dose group, respectively. And lowdose group, middle dose group and high dose groupwere given Rosa laevigata Michx polysaccharides with 100 mg kg, 200 mg kg and 400 mg kg every day, respectively, while that of normal group and model group were insteaded of NS. After continuously giving drug 30 days,other groups were injected with Dex(25 mg kg) 3 times by intraperitoneal injection on the first, the second and the third day, respectively, but the normal control group were instead of saline. And aftergiving Rosa laevigata Michx polysaccharides 1 week simultaneously, TC, TG, HDL-C, LDL-C, AST and ALT of serum in mice were tested, respectively. The results showed, Rosa laevigata Michx polysaccharides can significantly reduce the content of TC, LDL-C, ASTand ALT, and regulate the content of TG and HDL-C in serum.
