摘要
Abstract Recent years have witnessed increased demand for the utilization of heavier main group compounds as efficient catalysts. Compounds with group‐15 elements have drawn special attention due to their potential low toxicity and ease of synthesis. Among them, cationic species of heavier group‐15 elements have shown remarkable growth in the field of catalysis due to their tunable electrophilic behavior. This article summarizes recent advances in the utilization of Sb III and Bi III cationic species as catalysts for various organic transformations.
