A Review on Teacher Leadership based on Distributed Leadership

Teacher leadership which is based on distributed leadership is a new kind of leadership theory in the past 30 years in the UK,the USA,and Australia.By now there are about 30 kinds of definitions on teacher leadership.Many scholars have focused on such issues as the nature,the function of teacher leadership,the conditions influencing teacher leadership and how to generate and support teacher leaders.Although there is great progress of theoretical research on teacher leadership,some contentious issues about teacher leadership also exist.
