Design and construction of commercial airlift bioreactor

The commercial airlift reactor in terms of their construction,design parameters and applications,advantages and disadvantages are reviewed.These conventional airlift bioreactor are introduced,which include concentric draft tube and their derivatives,tubular loop airlift bioreactor,and some special types of bioreactor are also summarized briefly,it include split-cylinder,deep-shaft and channel-loop airlift bioreactors.All these fermenters analyzed have been successfully applied in bio-industry production.
