Evaluation of English Translation of“Wolf Totem”from the Perspective of Eco-Translatology

Wolf Totem is an ecological literature works which has caused great repercussions in Chinese literature circles.It is a brilliant treasure of the Chinese contemporary literary works.Translating outstanding literary works is an important means to improve the communication ability of Chinese literature and cultural influence on foreign literature.The English version of Wolf Totem is not only an authentic translation which is suitable for foreigners to read,but also creates amazing sales in overseas.It once created a new income record of copyright overseas output of Chinese literary works and became a classic works of Chinese contemporary literature works output to overseas.From the perspective of eco-translatology,based on the full analysis of ecotranslatology and the totem culture and ecological concept of Wolf Totem,this paper evaluates and analyses the English version of Wolf Totem,and also puts forward its own views on literature translation as well as how to make Chinese contemporary literature go abroad.
