Preliminary Investigation on the Primary Reason of Pine Wilt Disease in Huaping

The investigation was conducted at 11 towns and townships of Huaping County.Nematodes were isolated from most of the diseased pine woods and Bursaphelenchus mucronatus was identified.The investigations showed that pine wilt disease had occurred at least in 5 forest regions of Huaping country.It was B.mucronatus that caused the pine wilt disease.The cooperation damage of B.mucronatus and Monochamus alternatus was primary reason causing pine wilt disease and this damage way is making a tendency in Huaping.
