The content of petal substance contained in different types of famous flowers

By employing different determination method,this paper analyzed SOD,VC,chlorophyll,protein,sugar and so forth contained in different parts of the petals and leaves of Phalaenopsis amabilis and lotus in different phases of their growth.The analysis indicated that Phalaenopsis amabilis contains much VC and sugar in its petals and leaves;lotus has much SOD and protein in its petals and leaves;Phalaenopsis amabilis holds chlorophyll in leaves;half-blossoming Phalaenopsis amabilis and lotus are both rich in and are thought to be the critical period to get all the substances mentioned above.
