How do new ideas get institutionalized within firms? In the transition between old and new institutionalism, focus shifted from organizations to organizational fields. My research tries to enrich the perspective on intra-organizational change discussing how new insights can favor a more robust understanding of how new instances interact with existent structures, routines and symbols.
