Research and application of multi-functional acrylic resin grouting material

Different engineering problems have different performance requirements for grouting materials, and it is difficult to have a grouting material to meet a variety of engineering requirements. In this paper, a multi-functional acrylic resin grouting material was studied. The grouting material can form flexible gel with adjustable gel time, and the gel has the property of water swelling, which is suitable for water plugging grouting in structural crevices. When acrylic resin grout was mixed with a certain amount of cement, acrylic resin-cement composite grout was formed. While maintaining flexibility and water swelling performance, the strength of the gel was improved, which could meet the requirements of stratum grouting. The reaction mechanism of multi-functional acrylic resin grouting material was studied by infrared spectroscopy (IR) and scanning electron microscope (SEM). The multi-functional acrylic resin grouting material was used for blocking water in an underwater tunnel engineering. At the deformation joints, acrylic resin grout was used, and acrylic resin-cement composite grout was carried out in diaphram wall to treat water inrush and improve the bearing capacity of the stratum. The results showed that the multi-functional acrylic resin grouting material could meet the requirements of grouting in multiple parts of the structure through simple material adjustment.
