Construction for Pylon of No.3 Yellow River Bridge in Jinan City

The main bridge of the No.3 YelloW River Bridge in Jinan City is a steel box girder cable-stayed bridge with single pylon and double cable planes.The pylon is characterized by the difficulty construction and the demanding height.In the construction of the pylon,lots of new techniques and new construction technology are applied and the construction quality,safety and progress indices of the pylon are therefore ensured.In this paper,the construction techniques for the pylon are briefly presented.
