Engineering of Closed Loop Soft Water Cooling and Changing of the Two Systems of the No.2 BF of Laigang

In order to prolong the life of cooling stave, the engineering of closed loop soft water cooling was installed in No.2 BF of laigang. The evaporated cooling system with soft water closed loop system was switched over successfully in the normal production condition of the BF. After reforming, the soft water cooling system circulated well, the average temperature of the influent water of the cooling staves is 38.98℃, the average flow is 1150 m 3/h, the thermal load is 17.52GJ, the leakage rate is less than 0.018%.
