Property comparison of rotor spun and Sirofil spun lycra/cotton core-spun yarn

Open-end rotor Spun lycra filament/staple fiber core-spun yarn was produced by opening hole in the rotor and inserting filament under the negative pressure.And Sirofil core-spun yarn was produced by added a filament feeder on traditional ring spinning frame.Their longitudinal views,abrasion resistance,hairiness and breaking strength of the two core-spun yarns were tested and analyzed.The conclusion is that Open-end rotor Spun core-spun yarn is of a smoother surface,less hairiness,higher abrasion resistance and lower breaking strength but poor evenness than Sirofil spun core-spun yarn.
