Major Cooling Methods and Features of Large Generator

As the fast developing of industry and agriculture,the power net capacity is getting bigger and bigger,and the power generating equipment is becoming much huger,which makes an austere challenge to the traditional cooling technology of large generator.People found various of cooling methods through trying of any possible cooling combination and changing different coolants while optimizi ng and perfecting manufacture technology.Meanwhile,rapid progress was achieved on research approaches of cooling structure,insulation and sealing etc..Three fam iliar types of cooling methods as air-cooling,air-fluid cooling as well as fluid cooling aiming at the present large power generating equipment in particular hydro generator were describled.
