Some Findings on Growth of Solutions of Complex $$\boldsymbol{q}$$-Difference Equations

The growth of solutions of complex $$q$$ -difference equations and Askey–Wilson divided difference equations is studied by using the idea from Laine and Yang [20], in which type of the growth of the coefficients is used to characterize the growth of solutions of these equations, some new findings are showed in this paper.
