This paper investigates the throughput capacity of the LoRaWAN communication channel between two end devices. Using a mathematical model, the airtime is calculated for message transmissions with different spreading factor (SF) values. The mathematical model takes into account regional limitations on Duty Cycle. As a result of the calculations, dependencies of the channel's throughput capacity over a day are obtained as functions of parameters such as SF, Payload, and Duty Cycle. Based on the calculations, conclusions are drawn regarding the optimization of LoRaWAN device parameters to achieve maximum throughput capacity.
