Hospitalization costs of dementia in elderly population in Jilin, China: a quantile regression analysis

The use of quantile regression to identify factors associated with hospitalization costs may help address the burden on the elderly population. We should take steps to reduce the number of readmissions for people with dementia. There is a need to enhance the prevention and diagnosis of comorbidities with dementia. The financial burden of dementia's disease is significant and health insurance policies should tend to provide support.
