Advances in the treatment of hypertrophic scar and keloid with dermojet injections of drugs

Although there are differences existed in clinical manifestations and prognosis, hypertrophic scars and keloids are generally characterized by abnormally proliferative scar tissue and leading to fibrosis and abnormal wound healing. In clinical, hyperplastic scar and keloid may cause disfigurement or dysfunction. Surgical removal of hypertrophic scar and keloids poses a high recurrence risk. The treatment of hypertrophic scar and keloid with dermojet injections of drugs was widely used, the method is simple and effective, and it has obvious advantages in the prevention and early treatment of the disease, progress in this area is also fast. This review focuses on dermojet injections therapy and research status.
