The diagnotic value of exercise-histamine induced asthma for bronchial asthma

Aim: To study the diagnotic value of Exercise Histamine Induced Asthma(EHIA) for bronchial asthma. Methods: EHIA was deteced in 20 cases of health, 118 cases of bronchial asthma, 22 cases of allergic rhinitis and 24 cases of chronic bronchitis persons, and compared with the examination of exerxise induced asthma or histamine induced asthma. Results: Showed the diagnosis positive rate of asthma patients by EHIA was 97.4%, which was 100% specially. And the amount of histamine inhaled by EHIA positive patients also expressed their nonspecial bronchial hyperresponsiveness. Conclusion: EHIA was of big value in diagnosis for the early or nontypical cases of bronchial asthma.
