摘要
In order to study the dynamic response of transmission tower-line system under ice-shedding conditions and evaluate its safety, a finite element model of three-tower and four-line system under various ice-shedding conditions is established in this paper. The model uses the mass element to simulate the ice accretion conditions and uses the birth and death element method to simulate the ice-shedding process. In addition, this paper investigates the response characteristics of the tower-line system under different ice-shedding conditions. Parameters such as tower top displacement and tower stress are mainly studied, and the influence of ice accretion differences on transmission towers is analyzed. The results show that the element stress amplification coefficient on the cross-arm will decrease with the increase of ice accretion difference after conductor ice-shedding. After the ground wire ice-shedding, the element stress amplification factor increases with the increase of ice accretion difference. This study provides valuable guidance for the design, operation, and maintenance of transmission towers.
