摘要
A new shortwave broadband monopole antenna is developed, which uses carbon fiber as the main material and wrapped with pure copper mesh as the antenna radiator. The performance of the antenna is analyzed and simulated based on the method of moments (MOM). In order to reduce the size of the antenna and improve the working bandwidth, the lumped element loading technology and broadband matching network technology are combined to improve the broadband characteristics of the antenna. The antenna has the characteristics of small size, high strength, light weight and wide band.and is suitable for short-range ground wave communication and long-range sky wave communication. A new shortwave wideband monopole antenna is actually fabricated. By comparing the measured VSWR curve with the simulated VSWR curve, they are in good agreement, which verifies the correctness of the development.
