Research on process of selective oxidized cotton fiber by sodium periodate

In order to determine the optimal process of selective oxidized cotton fiber by sodium periodate,three factors of sodium periodate dosage,oxidation time and oxidation temperature were selected to do orthogonal experiment.Considering dialdehyde group formation amount and strength loss rate,the appropriate selective oxidization process was determined as follows: sodium periodate 1.5 g/L,oxidized at 40 ℃ for 2 h.
