Preliminarys study on the condition for dilute acid pretreatment of wheat straw

Dilute sulfuric acid pretreatment of wheat straw at lower temperature was investigated in this study,The influence of solid to liquid ratio,sulfuric acid concentration,reaction time and hydrolysis temperature on hydrolysis efficiency were considered.The optimal hydrolysis condition established was solid to liquid ratio(W/V) 1∶8,sulfuric acid concentration 0.6%,reaction time 1h,hydrolysis temperature 160 ℃.In this condition,the reducing sugars reached 50.34 g/L and the reducing sugars yield obtained was 61.96% of the theoretics.
