STUDY ON EXTRACTING TEA POLYPHENOLS FROM LEAF OF INDOCALAMUS

This paper studied a technology of extracting tea polyphenols from leaf of Indocalamus.It has dealt with extracting method and conditions of tea polyphenols;the tea polyphenols content was tested with spectrophotometer UV9200.The effects of solvent,extracting time,extracting temperature have been studied also.The optimum conditions for extracting tea polyphenols from leaf of Indocalamus were as follow:the mass percentage of alcohol 65%,extracting temperature 55 ℃,extracting time 4～5 h,and the ratio of solvent to the leaf 6～7(mL/g).Under these conditions,the yield of tea polyphenols was 0.68%.
