Objective: To study the effects of different treatment plans on the liver function and serum triglyceride of hyperlipidemia -induced fatty liver rat model. Methods: The test rats were fed with high fat fodder to induce a fatty liver rat model. The test rats were treated with liver -protecting and blood -lipid -lowing drugs respectively to measure the index of alanine aminotransferase of the blood serum and to observe the effects of the different treatment plans. Results: The findings showed that in the rise of blood lipid and the abnormality of liver function Shuganjiangzhipian could lower the content of blood serum TG and improved the liver function obviously while Yiganling (liver -protecting drug) and Fenofibrat (fat -lowing drug) could improve the liver function obviously, but had no obvious effect on the content of blood serum TG. Conclusion: In the rise of blood lipid and the abnormality of liver function, the treatment of the fatty liver patients can be given liver -protecting and fat -lowing drugs.
