Dynamic power management in wireless sensor network

An effective method of dynamic power management,based on wavelet and Kalman analysis,is proposed to extend life of wireless sensor network by making economical use of energy.Wavelet,Kalman filter and AR are used to forecast the time when next event will happen,and the state in which wireless sensor should lie is decided based on the time.Total energy consumption is decreased under fraction of event missed as low as posible.Experimental results show the method is effective.
