摘要
Surface modification of titanium hydride (TiH 2 ) with epoxy resin was carried out by ultrasonic wave-assisted ball milling. The product was characterized by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, thermogravimetry and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The sedimentation test was conducted to investigate the compatibility of TiH 2 nanoparticles with epoxy resin. The results show that epoxy resin is grafted on the nanoparticles’ surface after the ultrasonic wave-assisted ball milling process, which improves the compatibility of TiH 2 nanoparticles with epoxy resin. The different results of ultrasonic wave irradiation, ball milling (without ultrasonic wave assistance) and ultrasonic wave-assisted ball milling indicate that the coupling effect of ultrasonic wave and mechanical force plays an important role in the grafting process. In addition, the anticorrosion property of epoxy resin coating containing modified nanoparticles was investigated.
