摘要
In this paper microwave dielectric relaxation times of cellosolves in dilute solutions of carbon tetrachloride are reported. These have been calculated using Higasi's equations by measurement of permittivity /spl epsi/' and dielectric loss /spl epsi/" at 9.83 GHz. It is observed that average relaxation time /spl tau//sub 0/ and relaxation time for overall rotation /spl tau//sub 1/ both increases while relaxation time /spl tau//sub 2/ for group rotation decreases with the increase in molecular size. These results have been compared with earlier relaxation data in benzene solutions and pure liquid state and discussed.
