Thermal, Morphological and Biodegradable Properties of PVAc/PLA Bioblends

In this work, PVAc/PLA blends films were prepared by solution casting methods. The characteristics of PVAc/PLA blend films were analyzed for thermal properties by thermogravimetric analysis, morphology of blends film by scanning electron microscope. The biodegradability of blend films were analyzed under controlled condition of soil burial test. The degradability of films was analyzed by visual observation, measuring weight loss and by morphological analysis.
