Synergistic crosslinking effect of illite and hydroxyethyl cellulose on improving the properties of PVA based hydrogels

In this work, HEC and illite were used to enhance the mechanical and electrochemical properties of PVA hydrogels. The supercapacitors assembled from these hydrogels exhibited high cycling stability and could withstand mechanical stimuli.
