Advances in the Studies of Spontaneous Monolayer Dispersion of Oxides and Salts on Supports

The principle that many oxides and salts can disperse spontaneously onto the surface of supports to form a monolayer or submonolayer has obtained broad approval since the phenomena were revealed. This review summarizes some new advances in the fundamental research and application of the spontaneous monolayer dispersion principle, based on about one hundred papers published in recent years.
