Change in Cropping Pattern and its Impact on the Society and The Environment

AbstractThis paper gives the reasons which cause changes in the cropping pattern. Such changes may work towards preservation of the environment, while others may be detrimental in short as well as long runs. The paper accounts for the dumps alone 1965-66 to 1983-84 in the cropping pattern in Gujarat.
