The Influence of the Needle - Collector Distance Upon the Characteristics of the Polyetherimide Nanofibres Obtained by Electrospinning

This paper discusses the influence of the needle – collector distance (constructive parameter of theelectrospinning process) upon the characteristics of the nanofibers from the view point of their diameter andlevelness, nanofibers obtained from a mixture of polyetherimide with dimethylacetamide/tetrahydrofuran(DMAC/THF), 1:1 ratio, through electrostatic spinning.
