Gabapentin

Gabapentin is used to relieve severe and chronic neuropathic pain. In the dog, gabapentin was metabolized toN‐methyl gabapentin (34% of the dose), whereas metabolism in mouse, rat, monkey and human was minimal (<5%). Gabapentin was nearly mainly eliminated via the kidney in all species.
