[Evaluation of occurrence frequency of circulating p53 protein in serum of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases and non-small cell lung cancer].

P53 protein is observed in serum three times more often in patients with COPD than healthy subjects. Preasumably, chronic inflammation in bronchial tree in course of COPD could be predisposing factor for p53 mutation and synthesis of pathological p53 protein.
