摘要
Objective To establish a method for determining total flavonoids in the fruit of Buddleja lindleyana Fort. Methods The content of total flavonoids was detected by ultraviolet spectrophotometry(US). It was performed on rutin(as a control) and a sample with sodium nitrite-aluminum nitrate and sodium hydroxide as color-developing agent. Results The good linearity between concentrations and absorbance of rutin was found within the range of 8. 56 to 51. 36 mg·L- 1(A = 0. 012 0 C- 0. 007 1,r = 0. 999 8). The average recovery was 98. 76% and relative standard deviation was 1. 74%(n = 6). The fruit of Buddleja lindleyana Fort. contained 5. 29%of total flavonoids. Conclusions This method can be used for determining flavonoids in the fruit of Buddleja lindleyana Fort. because of its rapidness,simplicity,accurateness and reliability.
