摘要
The synthetic process of propylene glycol monoethyl ether from propylene oxide and ethanol using solid base catalyst MAF was investigated. Under the reaction conditions of reaction temperature 120-130℃,amount of catalyst 0.50%-1.0%, and ethanol/PO molar ratio= (4-6):1, the conversion of propylene oxide is about 98%, the selectivity and yield of propylene glycol monoethyl ether is 92% and 90% respectively, and the selectivity of primary ether is 92%-93% in the product. The catalyst could be reused directly for many times.
