摘要
Nanocomposites and nano ceramics are very important materials due to its wide applications in the field of energy supply and storage, communications, refractory and electrical devices etc. The optical properties, nature of dielectric relaxation mechanism, loss factor etc are very important in deciding their use. Magnesium oxide is basically an insulator material and when combined with a transparent semiconductor like ZnO, its properties change drastically .The method of preparation can also often be a determining factor in shaping a nanoceramics. In the present study mainly composition and its effects in optical and dielectrical properties are probed through Cole-Cole Plots.
