The common fate model for collective parenting efficacy of early childhood parents

양육효능감은 양육행동을 통해 유아발달에 영향을 주는 양육의 주요 예측변인이다. 부모의 양육효능감은 상호의존적인 특성을 가지나 이분법적으로 분석되어 왔고, 부와 모의 양육효능감의 산술적 합산은 부모의 양육효능감과 동일하지 못하다는 한계를 갖고 있다. 이에 공동운명모델을 활용하여 집단적 양육효능감이 자녀에 대한 애정적인 양육행동과 부부갈등에 미치는 영향을 검증하고자 하였다. 본 연구에 참여한 대상은 서울과 경기도 지역에 위치한 유치원과 어린이집 재원 3-5세 유아 488명이다. 분석방법은 공동운명모형분석법을 활용하였다. 연구결과 집단 양육효능감은 자녀에 대한 애정어린양육행동을 유의미하게 예측하는 것으로 나타났으며, 부부 간 갈등은 현저히 낮춘다는 결과를 검증하였다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 유아를 위한 부모교육에 관한 함의를 논의하였다.네Parenting efficacy is major variable that can predict parenting behavior affecting child development. Parents are interdependent dyad, therefore their variable are not same as sum of each one’s parenting efficacy. The present research using common fate model focus on the dyadic feature of parents’ interdependence. The effect of collective parenting efficacy on affectionate parenting and marital conflict was examined. Participants in this study were 488 parents of children aged 3–5 who were enrolled in kindergartens or daycare centers in Seoul, Gyeonggi Province. Results shows that collective parenting efficacy was shown to predict affectionate parenting and the collective parenting efficacy significantly lowers marital conflict.
