After removing fractured vertebral body we were reguired to substitute by artificial vertebral body. For recovery the fractured vertebral body anatomically and functionally. During the* Artificial vertebral body* project we tried to establish the vertebral body movement, morphological measurement of vertebral body and biomechanical index of vertebral body stone firm and disc firm of Mongolians. In result of the study we could establish our own artificial vertebral body. The artificial vertebral body which we made, already penetrated in the neurosurgical practise in our country. We have used the artificial vertebral body for 9 patients who suffered from many kind of fractured vertebral body. Study is going on.
