Gold and silver minerals are closely related to pyrite in origin, and pyrite is a major gold bearing mineral. The deep mineral potential of gold is evaluated by analyzing and testing the form, composition and thermoelectricity of pyrite in the Nanzhangjia gold deposit. The form is mainly {100}+{210}, indicating the higher sulfur concentration in the mineralized solution, and the obvious sulfur affinity of gold; the composition is poor in Co and Ni, but rich in As and Hg; and the thermoelectricity is mainly P type, which accounts for 76%~100%, indicating the shallow deposit is being mined, and there is still a potential in depth.Meanwhile, the P type pyrite varies very little from top to bottom (0 03%~0 2% P type per meter), and the mineralized setting is stable, indicating the downward continuation of the mineral body.Additionally, there are similarities in form, composition and thermoelectricity between the pyrite in the deposit and the pyrite in the Cishan monzonitic granite, indicating their inheriting relationship between the two pyrites, and further indicating the formation of the gold mineral deposit is relative to the Cishan granite.
