The effect of strain rate on mechanical properties of 10 steel in hydrogen was investigated with strain rates from 10~(-7)sec~(-1) to 10~(3)sec~(-1).The results show that the influence of hydrogen is the most significant within the strain rate range of 3.33×10~(-4)sec~(-1)~3.33×10~(-6)sec~(1),and the influence reduces accompanying increase or decrement of strain rates.In strain rate range I(6.0×10~(2)sec~(-1)),yield stress has a linear relationship to strain rate.In range II(6.0×10~(2)sec~(-1)),yield stress is very sensitive to strain rate.Under high strain rate compared with static,yield stresses of original and charged specimens increase 1.1 and 1.5 times respectively.Yield stresses of charged and original specimens increase accompanying increase of strain rate from 10~(-4)sec~(1)to 10~(3)sec~(-1).A expression is proposed which can describes stress-strain relationship accurately in high strain rate.
