摘要
Under the guidance of STEM concept, the theme of this paper is ‘‘Designing water purification solution based on waterpollution of China’’. This paper integrates the resources from school, museum and water utility factory to develop acomprehensive learning practice, which involves multi-subject knowledge in biology, chemistry, math, physics andengineering. The students are guided to research the water shortage and pollution status in China, and independentlyinquireto find solutionsfor waterpurification through collectingwaterin daily life.During the overallprocess,studentsarecollaborated to analyze issues, design the solution, practice, share ideas and assess the effectiveness. Consequently, thepractice makes full use of local resources like water museum to add humanistic color to this study.
