Study on Synthesis of Brominated Bisphenol A Epoxy Resin

Tetrabromobisphenol A diglycidyl ether are prepared. The effects the molor ratio of tetrabromo bisphenol A and epichlorohydrin; solvents; reaction temperature; the quantity of 48.5% NaOH and the time of first reaction on the reaction were studied and the epoxide equivalent of epoxide compounds were determinated.
