Clinical studies on combination therapy of jinlong capsule and transarterial chemoembolization in treatment of primary hepatic carcinoma

OBJECTIVE: To study the clinical effect of the combination therapy of jinlong capsule and transarterial chemoembolization(TACE) in the treatment of primary hepatic carcinoma(PHC).METHODS:Sixty cases of PHC were classified randomly into two groups: a combination therapy group(trial group,30 cases) and a TACE group(control group,30 cases).After the treatment for three months,the differences between the two groups in the quality of life,immunity index and tumor volume variation were analyzed.RESULTS:The response rate(56.7%,17/30) of the trial group was not significant different from that(33.3%,10/30) of the control group,but the aggravation rate(6.7%,2/30) was less than that(33.3%,10/30) of the control group significantly,P0.05.The life quality and the celluar immunity funtion of the trial group were better than those of the control group significantly,P0.05.CONCLUSION:The combination therapy jinlong capsule and TACE can improve the life quality and the celluar immunity function,and stave the tumor's aggravation.
