Prosthetic management of the severely absorptive maxillary in sinus area by using sinus elevation technique with implant computer-guided template

Objective:To study the prosthetic management of the sinus patient by using implant computer-guide.Methods: The use of CT scans and surgical planning software to produce an implant computer-guided template, as well as the use of an osteotome sinus floor elevation technique and implant prosthetic management. When the template was finished, it will be applied in the clinic and give the surgeon a correct position and direction. The implant computer-guided template was applied in 12 cases, totally 19 implants for the severely absorptivemaxillary in sinus area. Result: It showed that the implant placement became more predictable, safer, and easier for patients. Conclusion: With the limitation of the early study, implant computer-guided osteotome sinus floor elevation and implant prosthetic management that fulfills both anatomic and occlusional requirements for a severely resorbed edentulous maxilla.
