The Value of LEEP in the Treatment of Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia

Objective To investigate the effect of loop electrosurgical excision procedure(LEEP) in the treatment of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN).Methods One hundred and eleven cases with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia diagnosed by biopsy were treated with LEEP.The operation time,the blood loss and postoperative outcomes were observed.Results The preoperative pathological diagnosis of 86 cases(76.8%)were consistent with that of the postoperative ones.And 26 cases(23.2%) were not consistent.Conclusion LEEP in the treatment of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia had achieved good results and is a relatively safe and effective method.
