Quality Soft Magnetic Alloy Made by Air Induction Melting and Vacuum Pouring

The production cost of soft magnetic alloy 1JHA1 by vacuum induction melting(VIM) is very expensive.Air induction melting(AIM) of magnetic alloy 1JHA1 was investigated to reduce cost.Experimental results show that Quality magnetic alloy 1JHA1 can be produced by air induction melting(AIM) and vacuum pouring technologically and economically.Using Si-Ca and Si-Ca-Ba Alloys as final deoxidizers and as modifying agent of non-metallic inclusions,high magnetic,structure uniformed,good surface quality alloy 1JHA1 strip with inclusions below 0.5 grade were obtained.Compared to VIM,AIM reduces the production cost significantly.
