Non-intellectual variables have been said to be important and relevant to children’s performance on assessment procedures, and appear to be especially relevant to dynamic assessment because of the interactive nature of these approaches. This article reviews evidence of inclusion of non-intellectual variables in current dynamic assessment procedures.
