In machining process of vertical ball-end milling cutter,the angle between the cutter axis and the normal of curved surface of workpiece is important to the surface quality of workpiece and the life of cutter. It introduces requirements of the high-speed ball-end milling cutter in brief.On the basis, through study of the inclination angle,adjusting this angle can improve the cutter performance very efficiently. The experimental results also show that there is a definite significance to guide how to choose milling parameters and cutter paths.
