Commentary on the Development of Chinese Sports Population Since Reform and Opening

The Chinese government has highly stressed on the development of mass since the reform and openings.It promoted the increase of sports population.Since sports is considered as the statistical index of the national mass development,therefore,the enlargement of population is badly needed for both the social development and the body-building of the entire people.This thesis focuses on the developments and changes of Chinese population by means of the comparison between the survey of mass actuality in year 1997 and 2001.Much analysis of the imbalance during the development of population is made in this paper as well.Hopefully,it could provide the theory reference for the mass policy basis.
